Take the scenic ride over Glorieta Pass and on to NM 53 through the Glorieta Battlefield to Pecos. At the stop sign turn right and into Frankie‘s parking lot. BTW, they have baked goods there.

Frankie's at the Casanova
Meet at Frankie‘s at the Cassanova in Pecos at 9:30 Ride the frontage road, old US 66, to Las Vegas and on to Watrous, NM. Then ride NM 161 to NM 518. Return through Las Vegas, or ride over the hump to Sipapu to return. Always a good ride in that part of the country!

Located in south central Texas, the Hill Country’s eye-popping landscape has some of the top riding routes in Texas, if not the nation. There’s something for everyone from the challenging Three Sisters to scenic Route 16 to the winding Willow Loop. With April’s average daytime high of 80 degrees, it’s also a perfect time to ride.

April 18th is (1 night past) the New Moon. Come experience the wonder of an International Dark Sky Park (hopefully) at the Gallo Campground. I have reserved Groupsite #1 and #2 for that night. Cost will be split among attendees. Register to reserve a spot! NOTE : THIS IS A WEATHER-DEPENDENT EVENT!
We will stop for breakfast at the Cuban Cafe enroute.
