Forum Digest Email Setup

Digest Emails can be setup to send you a daily or weekly email containing any new Forum posts that you have not opened and read. If you miss a day or more of new topics and replies you won’t have to go online to see what is new. The Digest will automatically send you an email containing all that information with links to the Forum so you can read all about it. Users can setup Digests to send daily or weekly updates.

To  setup Digests you will  need to go to the LOEBMWR.org Forum page and login to your account. Once logged in, click on your username on the left side of the screen.

That will open your Profile page. Click on the Edit link at the bottom of the list.

Go down the opened page until you see the heading labeled ‘BBPRESS DIGEST EMAILS’. Directly below that heading you will check the Yes checkbox to turn digest mode on, and below that select the Daily or Weekly radio button next to the ‘Daily or weekly’ option (Weekly option selected in the example below).

If you choose weekly digests, select from the drop down which day of the week you want to receive your digest email (Wednesday selected in the example). Below that you can the hour of the day (24 hour time) you want the email sent to you (2pm selected in the example). You also have the option to select the delivery time (24 hour time) if you want to receive daily digest emails.

If you only want digests sent for specific forums instead of all the forums, click on the ‘Only forums I choose’ radio button (as selected in the example) and then check the specific forums you want (Club Organized Rides and the Meet Up forums shown in the example). Otherwise, leave the ‘All’ radio button selected and you’ll receive a digest email for all the forums.

FINALLY – remember to go to the bottom of the page and click on the ‘UPDATE PROFILE’ button to save your changes.
