It was great to see everyone though my visit was fairly short! Thanks for supporting the rally and we hope to see you at the rally, especially if you can volunteer. We still need some people to watch over the Flea Market.

It was especially nice to see Peggy and so glad she's continuing to work at getting better and better. Thanks to John and Peggy for the "vintage" LOEBMWR" stuff they donated for door prizes, etc.

Thanks to all of the organizers, we had a great time. And thank all of you who gave Peg such a warm welcome back! This was her first club event in well over a year and while she was initially a bit apprehensive; she came home all smiles. I hope this proves to be a big step forward on her road to recovery. My THANKS to all of you!!

LOEBMWR Birthday Picnic. We will be back to Oak Flats on Saturday August 3th. The food will be ready about noon, and the Cooks and Talkers will start about 10:00 am. Remember to bring a side dish. We will have the Grilled Meat ( I think Brats and Burgers)

1 1/2 bag of quick light charcoal
paper towels
small cups
paper plates
forks & spoons
alum. foil
alum. pans
cooking utensils
garbage bags
something to clean tables

1/3 lb hamburgers....48
brats...................... 36
fish patties (veggie) 6
buns to match
burger seasoning
mustard catsup
sliced onion
green chili
sour krout
drinks (water, tea, lemonade )

DIRECTIONS From Albuquerque: drive east on I-40 to Exit 175 toward Tijeras, NM. Drive south for 9 miles on State Road 337 . Look for the brown Oak Flat - Cibola National Forest sign, turn east (left) onto Oak Flat Road and follow it for 0.39 miles until you reach the Oak Flat entrance on the left side of the road. Look for the Yaca Picnic area. Or just look for all the bikes!
