Sat 1/19 Ride to Mountainair for lunch @ Alpine Alley 11am

Hi RJ, Nobody showed up at PJ's nor at the Apple Vally Cafe while I was there. It was a nice ride, albeit a bit cold. I did spot a few riders coming south as I was riding back north after lunch. Mostly though, the roads were pretty quiet.

No pics but, as always, a warm welcome at the Cafe and great food.

So who made it out with you? Anyone? Is there a short ride report in the offing??

Thanks, Reid, for using this section of the Forum. We need to build a fire under everyone to use this more often and get some of these "spur of the moment" rides rolling (literally!).

With the way the weather is now, impromptu rides are a great idea because we can react quickly to the current weather reports instead of praying for good riding weather a month or more ahead of time.

Me too! Til I get the knee squared away, riding in cold weather just isn't an option. Haven't been on CoCo since I got back from my two week trip in Sept. and I am not liking that.

Sat 1/19 Lunch in Mountainair: Alpine Alley. I'll be leaving PJ's Triumph on Central (just west of Tramway) at 11am. If you don't know me, I ride a 2013 blue Triumph Explorer. Please let me know if you're coming by posting here. If you're running late for some reason, my cell is 362.2276.

The food at Alpine Alley is excellent and the people running it couldn't be friendlier.
