We have identified 5 GREAT rides in the area around Sipapu which will have you riding through quintessentially New Mexican riding terrain.

All of these rides are included in a GPX file which you can use to navigate the routes.

Here are some tips on how to use the GPX file with your Garmin GPS unit:

Here is a link to a Google Map with all the rides on it.

The travel time estimates in the ride descriptions below are from Google Maps. Your actual travel times may vary.

Enchanted Circle

130 mi, 2 hours, 56 minutes. All pavement.

For a longer ride, from Eagle Nest travel 24 miles east to Cimarron along Highway 64. In Cimarron do a U turn and return to Eagle Nest by the same route. This out-and-back will add about an hour to your ride but is well worth it.

Angel Fire Loop

103 mi, 2 hours, 26 minutes. All pavement.

Dixon Loop

Black Lake Ocate Loop
