"Borrow" an F800GS with ESA?

Does anyone have an F800GS with ESA that I could use to plug in a rear shock?

I have a big trip planned for the week of 25 July, but the rear shock on my F800GS has gone out. The only solution I've been able to find to get a replacement (stock or aftermarket) in time for the trip is to buy a used one on Ebay. Though, the only ones I can find on Ebay are ESA shocks, but my bike is non-ESA. I'm going to try to install it anyway. But before installing it on my bike, I had the idea to plug it into an ESA bike, to command it into my desired damping mode. Unfortunately, this would have to be the week of 18 July, since I'll also be out of town next week.
